Is Sidecar Mobile Bar licensed and Insured?
Sidecar Mobile Bar, LLC. Is a licensed and insured limited liability company. We will provide our business license and liquor liability insurance for ALL events.
What locations do you provide your services?
We typically provide services in Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte, Almont and Gunnison, Colorado. We are happy to travel to your event destination outside of the Gunnison Valley for a travel fee that depends on mileage and the number of staff required.
Who will provide the alcohol?
Liquor laws prevent us from providing the alcohol for your event. All liquor, beer and wine must be purchased by the host. We can help with liquor calculations, a recommended shopping list, bartending equipment and services during your event and all other beverage needs.
Who is responsible for making sure that the guests do not have too much to drink?
Sidecar Mobile Bar reserves the right to refuse service to any guests who seems to have had too much to drink, per our judgement. However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions.
Will Sidecar Mobile Bar ID our guests?
Yes. All drinking guests must be 21 years old and we reserve the right to card anyone at anytime.
How far in advanced do I have to reserve your services?
If you want to guarantee a certain date, the sooner you book the better your chances will be to secure that date. However, it never hurts to ask even for last minute parties.
What is the deposit policy?
After we have gotten our contract settled and your event is scheduled, we take a 50% deposit from our quote.
- Notice over 30 days prior to event: Full Refund of Deposit
- Notice 11 to 29 days prior to event: 50% Refund of Deposit
- Notice 10 or less days prior to event: No Refund of Deposit
Which forms of payment are accepted?
Checks, cash and most credit cards
When do we make our final payment?
Final Payment will be due 10 days prior to your event. Any overtime or last minute add-ons will be agreed upon at event and should be paid within 24 hours after the event.
What type of bar will you bring to my party?
You can choose from:
· 6 foot banquet table with linens
· Whiskey Barrel Bar
What type of equipment do you bring?
This will depend on the package you select. Please refer to the packages page for a detailed list of equipment included with each package.
What type of drinks do you make?
We can make any drink. Special requests are no problem. We can help you customize a drink menu and help develop signature cocktails.
How much beer, wine or liquor do I need for my party?
We will help with liquor quantities for each particular event. Once a quote is requested from Sidecar Mobile Bar we will send out our simple questionnaire in order to better understand what type of event you are having and how to plan accordingly. For example, types of alcohol provided, number of people attending and the length of the event.
Can you handle a big party of 300 guests?
Yes. We have multiple bars and bartenders to bring to any party.
Do you provide the alcohol?
Again, we DO NOT provide alcohol! Liquor laws prevent us from providing the alcohol for your event. All liquor, beer and wine must be purchased by the host. We can help with liquor calculations, a recommended shopping list, bartending equipment and services during the event and all other beverage needs.
How will the bartenders be dressed?
Your bartender(s) will be dressed in all black. Special arrangements can be made if you would prefer different attire.
How many bartenders do I need for my party?
We recommend one bartender for every 30 people. This number can change according to the types of drinks you choose for your menu.
Is gratuity included in your fees?
Tips are customary in the bartending business so we offer our customers two options:
1. Allow a tip jar to be placed on the bar.
2. There will be no tip jar and the event host will pay a 20% gratuity fee, per bartender, based on the final invoice.
